Our company realizes that time is money. Therefore, we are happy to be offering our customers Blended Learning. Instead of the traditional two day Standard First Aid course with Blended Learning, it is one day. Here is how it works.
- You provide me with an email address of employee that requires the course
- I email the employee a link and a PIN number
- The student logs in and completes the theory portion of the course.
The student can work on the theory portion in their leisure on-line. They can log in or out as often as they want. Once the on-line portion is complete, we set up some time and complete the skills portion of the Standard First Aid course. Upon successful completion of the course, the students receive their card.
The Purpose of Blended Learning
The purpose of Canadian Red Cross blended delivery is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until advanced medical help arrives. This program offers a choice of Standard First Aid (SFA), Emergency First Aid (EFA), and CPR/AED courses to meet the various training needs of those in workplace, school or community settings.
The content and activities will help participants identify and respond to potentially hazardous conditions, recognize emergencies and make appropriate decisions for first aid care. The blended learning courses are designed to be flexible to meet the various needs of course participants.
